Role Overview

Standard Bank Group is currently inviting candidates to join their team in Limpopo South Local Market, specifically in Botlokwa, under a permanent employment arrangement. Through supervised learning and shadowing experienced professionals, participants will observe how customer requirements are evaluated and met, fostering a robust comprehension of account servicing workflows, product portfolios, regulatory compliance rules, and service quality benchmarks. The position prepares individuals for future autonomous client interactions by acquiring necessary competencies and required accreditations.

Job Duties

• Shadow seasoned professionals to observe daily financial operations and service delivery.
• Engage in structured learning to understand how customer requirements are properly identified and fulfilled.
• Build familiarity with internal account servicing procedures, financial product ranges, and regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Strive to meet high standards of customer experience and complete necessary training to prepare for independent client management.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must possess an NQF Level 5 qualification with a mandatory FAIS requirement, alongside holding a FAIS Representative certification. A background spanning three to four years involving relevant FAIS training and exposure is required; individuals lacking specific FAIS background will need to function under direct supervision. A solid background working within a branch banking or contact centre setting is necessary, demonstrating a strong grasp of institutional processes, internal policies, and financial offerings. Desired behavioural competencies include verifying details, persuading individuals, cultivating expertise, building strategies, and adapting to change. Technical competencies encompass consumer banking application handling and verification, financial procedures, client onboarding reviews, customer insights, transaction processing, and comprehensive product knowledge.
