Role Overview
The organization seeks a qualified professional to design automation testing strategies and create automated scripts across various technology offerings throughout pre-deployment, deployment, and post-deployment stages. This function operates within operational and change environments while adhering to established testing frameworks. Evaluations encompass front-end, back-end, integration, performance, scalability, and regression testing to maintain measurable metrics and comprehensive test coverage.
Core Responsibilities
The incumbent will take part in the complete development lifecycle as part of agile squads, joining daily standups and planning sessions. Responsibilities include reviewing test automation needs during the analysis phase using technical documents like user stories and business briefs, creating quality assurance documentation, and writing automated scripts utilizing SQL, harnesses, and custom code. Practitioners will conduct diverse testing types, analyze outcomes, facilitate reviews, and collaborate with product builders to offer quality enhancements. Additional duties involve delivering assigned testing outputs punctually, tracking progress, monitoring performance, generating metrics, applying DevOps practices, adhering to risk and governance controls, identifying potential threats, and engaging in peer reviews to elevate testing knowledge across teams.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.
