Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will supervise the complete transaction lifecycle encompassing trade settlement, execution, matching, and allocation regarding intricate Global Markets operations. Using professional market knowledge, the specialist will address exceptions, decrease operational settlement dangers, and advance process refinement through automated controls. Furthermore, the role requires close collaboration with external counterparties, Front Office divisions, Risk, Operations, and Compliance departments to guarantee efficient service administration.
Background and Competency Requirements
Applicants must possess an initial undergraduate degree focusing on Finance, Business Commerce, Accounting, or Mathematical Sciences. Candidates are required to demonstrate between three to five years of operational trade support background, encompassing advanced familiarity with the trade lifecycle within Global Markets across diverse product complexities. Essential capabilities include independent coordination across technology, finance, and operational business units, alongside applied understanding of risk management, valuation principles, profit and loss implications, and the complete value chain. Proficiency with Microsoft software, banking systems, and desk-specific technology applications is necessary. Behavioural capabilities involve effective communication, practical problem-solving, adherence to procedures, relationship-building, and maintaining composure under pressure. Technical abilities span trade lifecycle management, derivatives markets, exception resolution, process redesign, internal control assessment, and deal setup administration.
