Duties and Responsibilities
Provide outstanding consumer assistance, reach branch turnover goals using proactive sales strategies, and maximize purchasing opportunities. Supply merchandise insights, incorporating attributes, advantages, and maintenance guidelines to empower buyers in making educated buying choices. Strictly uphold Woolworths and Country Road Group directives, standard operating procedures, and merchandising benchmarks. Ensure branch display and cleanliness benchmarks are strictly sustained following Visual Merchandising guidelines. Handle all merchandise and assets diligently to curtail shrinkage and lower expenditures. Maintain an active and approachable presence on the shopping floor to interact with patrons, extend support, and elevate the retail journey. Exhibit adaptability by operating across diverse schedules and multiple branch sites as mandated.
Minimum Requirements
Possess a minimum Grade 12 qualification, or be presently completing Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF level. Prior relevant retail selling background is considered beneficial. Demonstrated capacity to furnish superior consumer assistance. Familiarity with contemporary style movements and the capability to guide shoppers appropriately. Digital literacy to operate retail software and equipment proficiently. Adaptable availability for diverse shift rotations and the capacity to operate across numerous branch sites. Compliance with corporate display and hygiene benchmarks outlined in Visual Merchandising frameworks. Dedication to strictly observing Woolworths and Country Road Group policies and guidelines. Competent verbal abilities and the capacity to sustain a prominent, accessible stance on the retail floor.
